Without Traffic to Oberammergau

Leave the autobahn A95 at the exit marked „Sindelsdorf“. Continue on in the direction of Murnau. Once in Murnau, follow the signs in the direction of „Oberammergau“. By the first exit into Oberammergau, take a left and then an almost immediate right. Continue driving under the bridge following the signs to the parking lot.

From the direction of Augsburg/ Schongau

Drive from the B 472 (detour Schongau/Peiting) right onto the B 23 towards Oberammergau. By the first exit into Oberammergau, take a left and then an almost immediate right. Continue on under the bridge following the signs to the parking lot.

Parking lot open daily from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., chargeable - price depends on the season (price information here: summer / winter ). Parking overnight is not allowed!

Or would you rather travel on the train?

Transfer in Murnau and the enjoy the beautiful view on your way to Oberammergau. From the train station it’s about a 10 minute walk to the Kolben chair lift.
